On May 24, China Nengjian Electric Power Engineering and the Almaty State Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan successfully signed an investment cooperation framework agreement in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on the Batog ai 1GW Optical Storage Integration Project in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
It is reported that the project is located in Esik City, Almaty Prefecture, and plans to build 1GW photovoltaic power station , supporting energy storage system , booster station, outgoing lines, etc. The project is developed by a consortium composed of Nengjian Times New Energy and Xinjiang Institute affiliated to China Electric Power Engineering, and Alna Company, Kazakhstan's territorial partner, assists in promoting the landing of the project. According to
the data, Nengjian Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established on August 11, 2023. It is jointly established by China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd. and Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 600 million yuan, focusing on new energy storage development, investment, construction, operation and equipment integration services. Its business covers energy storage technology services, intelligent equipment manufacturing, engineering management services and foreign contracted projects.
