Tongwei Global Innovation Research and Development Center's fully automatic megawatt perovskite-crystalline silicon tandem cell test line successfully runs through

the perovskite-crystalline silicon tandem cell, which can break through the efficiency limit of single-junction cells from the physical bottom, and is regarded by the industry as the key photovoltaic technology path to achieve ultra-high efficiency solar energy conversion in the future. Since its completion in the third quarter of 2022, Tongwei Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Battery Laboratory has always been industrialization-oriented, choosing the technical route compatible with existing heterojunction production lines, focusing on key processes such as structural design of tandem batteries, high-quality conformal film formation, interface passivation, low-temperature metallization and component packaging. At present, its laboratory R & D efficiency has exceeded 34.78%, and the efficiency of 210 half-size full-size batteries (full area) has reached 28.39%. In terms of promoting mass production, the laboratory fully draws on Tongwei's experience in mass production in the field of crystalline silicon batteries, and optimizes the layout of production lines and process control in combination with the characteristics of laminated batteries. The completion of the test line means that Tongwei laminated battery technology has officially moved from laboratory to industrialization, opening a new chapter of photovoltaic technology updating iteration.
