Recently, the Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Bureau of Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, issued a notice on the quality supervision and sampling of ready-mixed concrete in the second half of 2025.

This time, Zhangzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau organized spot checks on concrete quality supervision for enterprises in 16 counties (districts) and development zones (investment zones), including Xiangcheng District, Longwen District, Longhai District, Changtai District, Nanjing County and Zhangpu County. A total of 24 ready-mixed concrete production enterprises were selected, 27 rectification notices were issued, and 128 problems were found.

From the overall situation, the inspected enterprises have the corresponding qualifications and produce within the scope of qualifications, the quality of ready-mixed concrete is generally good, and the qualified rate of raw materials and mixtures is 100%. However, among the 15 projects under construction in the extended spot check, the strength of three components of three projects did not meet the design requirements after coring correction, and they were ordered to identify and rectify the closed-loop. No serious problems such as the use of unqualified raw materials and illegal use of sea sand were found in the
spot check. However, some enterprises have some common problems , such as inadequate implementation of the main responsibility, illegal release of over-limited transport vehicles, lax management of raw materials, and non-standard management of laboratories. The results of this
spot check show that there are different degrees of problems in 24 enterprises inspected, among which the most prominent common problem is the non-standard management of laboratories. It includes 19 kinds of specific problems, such as inadequate management of chemicals, lack of test equipment or expired calibration, no unique identification of test mould, and non-standard management of standard maintenance room. In terms of production management, problems such as illegal release of over-limited vehicles, incomplete self-calibration records of measurement scales, and lack of closed-loop delivery inspection records are also common.
