Recently, Anhui Chaohu Ecological Environment Branch released the approval results of the technical renovation and expansion project of 7.8 million tons/year mining and stripping processing of cement limestone mine in Lutang Mining Area of Chaohu Conch Cement, which means that the project has passed the EIA. The total investment of the project is about 514 million yuan, of which 64.2 million yuan is invested in environmental protection. After the implementation, 7.8 million tons of limestone ore for cement will be mined annually, a new stripping processing line will be built, with an annual processing capacity of 2.8 million tons, and the rest of the production capacity will remain unchanged, and no new area will be added.
