Recently, the United Nations Development and Reform Commission of the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a pilot project of national carbon emission standardization in 2025. The first national standardization pilot project in the field of carbon emission in Anhui Province, which was undertaken by Conch Group and participated by Wuhu Institute of Standardization, was successfully approved. As a key area of high energy consumption and high emissions, the accuracy and standardization of carbon emission monitoring in

cement industry are directly related to the effectiveness of carbon emission reduction and the smooth operation of the carbon market. Anhui is a major cement production province in China, and Conch Group, as a leading enterprise in the industry, has accumulated rich practical experience in carbon emission monitoring and management.
The project focuses on the core links of carbon emission monitoring in cement enterprises, systematically combs the existing practical experience, carries out research and development and application promotion of key technologies, and strives to build a scientific, standardized, replicable and popularizable carbon emission monitoring standard system, so as to provide solid support for the green low-carbon transformation and carbon market construction of cement industry in the whole province and even in the whole country.

Conch Group will take this pilot project as an opportunity, under the guidance of relevant provincial and municipal departments, to build a standard system around carbon emission monitoring of cement enterprises, accurately dock standard gaps, and accelerate the development of key standards. Conch will contribute to the national carbon emission standardization work and play a leading role in demonstration and radiation.
