On December 22, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Market Supervision jointly announced the list of energy efficiency "leader" enterprises in key industries in 2025. Yichun Red Lion was selected as one of the four energy efficiency benchmarking enterprises in the cement industry by virtue of its outstanding performance in the field of energy saving, carbon reduction and green development. On February 17, the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of "the second batch of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in Jiangxi Province in 2025", among which Yichun Red Lion was also listed.
Yichun Red Lion actively responds to the national goal of "double carbon", carries out the group's mission of "promoting low-carbon environmental protection of building materials", implements energy transformation and sustainable development measures, actively carries out various measures of energy saving and carbon reduction, and the main technical indicators have been greatly improved. The comprehensive coal consumption of clinker from January to November in 2025 is 70.66 kg/t, and that in November is 65.1 kg/t.
Yichun Red Lion will implement the technical transformation project of comprehensive utilization of 100000 tons/year alternative fuel resources in 2023 to reduce carbon emissions from the source through the efficient utilization of renewable resources. This year, we completed the technical renovation of high-standard alternative fuels and the construction of joint storage depots. From January to November, a total of 75,000 tons of alternative fuels were added, with a replacement rate of 29.5%, equivalent to an annual saving of about 46,000 tons of standard coal.
The company has also built 9 MW low-temperature waste heat power generation and 5.99 MW distributed photovoltaic power generation projects, providing about 50 million degrees of clean electricity annually, meeting 1/3 of the electricity demand of enterprises, and greatly reducing the dependence on traditional energy.
Yichun Red Lion relies on the technical support of the Group, adopts the intelligent management mode of "digitalization + intelligent equipment + remote collaboration", gradually builds the "1 + 6 + N" intelligent factory system, builds the intelligent manufacturing system covering the whole process of mining, raw material preparation, clinker calcination and cement grinding, and realizes the RTO control optimization of the whole process of cement line. Through digital intelligence, the effective operation rate of production line equipment reached 100%, the operation rate of automatic control system reached 95%, the energy consumption was accurately controlled, and the comprehensive power consumption and coal consumption per ton of clinker continued to decline.
This time, Yichun Red Lion was awarded two honors at the national and provincial levels, which not only affirmed the technological innovation of Red Lion Cement for many years, but also provided replicable practical experience for the green and low-carbon development of traditional manufacturing industry.
