Digital New Energy DataBM. Com learned that on December 26, the State Energy Group Shandong Dongying Kenli 1 million kilowatt offshore photovoltaic project was connected to the grid with full capacity.

It is reported that the project is the largest offshore photovoltaic project in China's open sea area. The construction site is located in the eastern sea area of Dongying, Shandong Province, with a sea area of about 1223 hectares. A total of more than 2.3 million 710W N-type double-sided components are used in four phases, with an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts. The total investment is about 8.1 billion yuan .

The project is the first in the world to adopt the construction technology of large offshore steel truss platform type fixed pile foundation, build 2934 photovoltaic platforms, adopt the optimized structure of "four-pile foundation + photovoltaic platform", and precisely adjust the inclination of the platform to 15 degrees, which can not only withstand 11strong winds and winter ice conditions, but also save more than 10% of the steel consumption of the project. After the
project is completed and put into operation, it is estimated that the annual power generation will reach 1.78 billion kWh.
