On August 28, the bid-winning information of EPC general contracting of 50 MW/100M Wh electrochemical independent energy storage power station in Yunan County, Yunfu City, Shunde Juneng was announced. The consortium of Zhuhai Kangjin Electric Co., Ltd. and Baiyuan Construction Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for the project with 85 million yuan, equivalent to a unit price of 0.85 yuan/Wh. The consortium of Guangdong Guangneng Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Henan Xiangguang Electric Power Engineering Design Co., Ltd., Donghengyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Interconnected Power Co., Ltd. ranked second and third. The tenderer of the
project is Yunfu Shunde Juneng Technology Co., Ltd. The project is located in Yunan County, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, with a construction capacity of 50 MW/100 M Wh, using the electrochemical energy storage method of lithium iron phosphate, with a total floor area of 13340 square meters, of which the building area is about 11000 square meters. The battery system adopts container integrated design and is planned to be composed of 20 2.5MW/5Mh energy storage containers. The containers are integrated with BMS management system, thermal management system, fire fighting system, power distribution control system, etc., and a supporting energy storage booster station, as well as corresponding 110 kV power distribution equipment, communication equipment, etc.
The project is planned to achieve full capacity grid-connected power generation by December 30, 2025.
