Digital New Energy DataBM. Com learned that on August 25, CGN issued a tender announcement for EPC general contracting of 160000 kW 640000 kWh in Ruoqiang, Bazhou, Xinjiang, and 200000 kW 800000 kWh in Luopu, Hetian.
The announcement shows that the 160000 kW/640000 kWh new energy storage project in Ruoqiang County, Bazhou, is located about 20 km southeast of Ruoqiang County, and is invested and developed by China-Guangzhou Nuclear New Energy Ruoqiang Co., Ltd. The project plans to build a centralized electrochemical energy storage power station with a total capacity of 160MW/640MWh. The EPC general contracting of the
project includes but is not limited to all equipment procurement, material procurement, transportation and management of the project, so as to realize the safe and stable trial operation
of the full capacity grid connection of the whole station. The project is planned to start on September 30, 2025, the booster station will be electrified before December 30, 2025, and the full-capacity grid-connected power generation will be completed before March 30, 2026.
CGN Hetian Luopu 200000 kW/800000 kWh Independent New Energy Storage Project is located in Luopu County, Hetian Prefecture, Xinjiang, about 20 kilometers away from Luopu County. The project plans to build a centralized electrochemical energy storage power station with a total capacity of 200MW/800MWh . The EFC general contract of the
project includes the procurement and supply of equipment and materials, civil engineering and equipment procurement, installation engineering construction, project management, commissioning, acceptance, training, handover of production, performance quality assurance, and services within the warranty period of project quality. In terms of construction schedule, the project is planned to start on September 30, 2025, the booster station will be electrified before December 30, 2025, and the full-capacity grid-connected power generation will be completed before March 30, 2026.
Both projects adopt the method of online bid opening, and the bid closing/opening time is 9:00 on September 15, 2025.
