From August 25 to 27, Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group, led a delegation to visit Thailand, held friendly talks with senior officials of Siam Cement Group, Zhengda Group and the Secretariat of the Eastern Economic Corridor, witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements, and investigated local enterprises to further promote international exchanges and cooperation.
Visit to Siam Cement Group
in Thailand On August 25, Zhou Yuxian visited Siam Cement Group (Siam Cement Group, SCG Group), the oldest comprehensive enterprise group in Thailand, and held talks with Thamasa Sesadom, President and CEO of SCG Group. Subsequently, the affiliated units of China Building Materials Group signed a memorandum of understanding with Siam Cement Group, and Zhou Yuxian and Tamasa Sesadom witnessed the signing.
Zhou Yuxian said that in the past two decades, China Building Materials Group and SCG Group have achieved fruitful cooperation in key areas such as cement engineering technology services, waste heat power generation system optimization, green building materials research and development. As the largest building materials enterprises in Thailand and China, both sides have the obligation to make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the world building materials industry and the global green and low-carbon cause. We hope to take the signing of the memorandum of understanding as a new starting point, consolidate traditional cooperation, expand strategic cooperation, deepen cooperation in high-end, green and digital building materials, accelerate the expansion of cooperation scenarios in new materials such as glass fiber, carbon fiber and wind power blades, and look forward to establishing a comprehensive, close and long-term partnership with SCG Group.

Visiting Chia Tai Group
of Thailand On August 26, Zhou Yuxian visited Chia Tai Group of Thailand and held talks with Dhanin Chearavanont, senior chairman of Chia Tai Group, and Xie Jiren, chairman of Chia Tai Group.
On the same day, China Building Materials Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Zhengda Group, Zhixiao signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Prasit Damlongjit Nanong, Vice Chairman of Zhengda Group's Agricultural Integration Business, Rice, Transportation and Services Department, and Zhou Yuxian witnessed the signing of the agreement with Xie Guomin and Xie Jiren.
Zhou Yuxian said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. On August 27, Zhou Yuxian visited the Secretariat of the Eastern Economic Corridor of Thailand (EEC Secretariat) and exchanged views with Dr. Chula Sumano, Secretary-General of the EEC Secretariat.
On the same day, Sinoma International signed a letter of intent for cooperation with the EEC Secretariat of Thailand, and Yin Zhisong signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Dr. Chula Sumano.
Zhou Yuxian said that Southeast Asia is a strategic region of China's building materials focus, and over the years we have deeply felt the efficiency, pragmatism, openness and inclusiveness of the Thai government, especially the outstanding achievements of the EEC Secretariat in promoting infrastructure upgrading, industrial innovation and investment facilitation.
