On August 22, the National Symposium on Raw Material Industry was held in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province in 2025. The meeting summarized the previous work, studied and judged the development situation, deployed the next stage of key work, mobilized the whole industry to concentrate and work hard, and unswervingly achieved the expected goals for the whole year and the tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Xie yuansheng, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting pointed out that the industrial and information system has thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions, and has achieved positive results in promoting the high-quality development of the industry. The overall operation of the industry is stable, the economic benefits have been significantly improved, the industrial transformation and upgrading have achieved remarkable results, the ability of resource security has been continuously enhanced, and breakthroughs have been made in the innovation and development of new materials.
The meeting emphasized that we should anchor the primary task of high-quality development and the key task of realizing new industrialization, coordinate high-quality development and high-level security, and focus on the security of mineral resources, the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and the innovative development of new materials industries, so as to promote the high-quality development of raw materials industry to a new level. Relevant persons in charge of industry and information technology in
provinces (districts, municipalities) and Sinkiang Production and Construction Corps, representatives of relevant trade associations and key enterprises, and relevant departments, bureaus and subordinate units of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the meeting.
