According to the People's Government of Xinhang Town, Guangde City, Anhui Province, recently, the construction of the Southern Cement Green Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park project with a total investment of 5.8 billion yuan ushered in a major breakthrough-the successful capping of the preheater tower at the kiln tail of the core process unit ! This marks that the main project of the project has entered the peak stage of equipment installation in an all-round way, laying a solid foundation for the production line to be ignited and put into operation on schedule.
According to Xuancheng Daily, since the start of construction in December 2024, Guangde Southern Cement Project has maintained its construction rhythm. At present, 92% of the civil engineering has been completed, 51% of the equipment installation has been completed, and a modern production line is gradually becoming a reality from a blueprint.
Guangde Southern Cement Project integrates two cement clinker production lines with a daily output of 2500 tons in Dushan South and one cement clinker production line with a daily output of 2500 tons in Xinhang South, with Guangde South as the main body of construction. A new dry process cement clinker production line with a more advanced technology and a daily output of 7500 tons will be built, with a 13 MW waste heat power generation system and a 3 million tons grinding project. This is a strategic measure to implement resource integration and industrial upgrading in Guangde region of Southern Cement. After the
project is put into operation, it will be connected to Zhejiang Changxing Cement Terminal through a special belt corridor to realize the whole process of clinker transportation. This can not only reduce logistics costs and improve transport efficiency, but also fundamentally solve the problem of dust pollution caused by traditional transportation, and achieve a double breakthrough in capacity optimization and energy efficiency improvement.
"We moved the project here mainly for several reasons." Wu Aijun, deputy general manager of Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd., said that the first is resource integration; the second is industrial upgrading, the 7500-ton production line is more intelligent and the indicators are more advanced; the third is that after the relocation of the production line is put into operation, the production capacity and consumption indicators will reach the international advanced level.
Wu Aijun introduced that the project meets the requirements of Anhui Province's carbon peak, and will reduce carbon emissions through green technology and practice the concept of "two mountains". "It is hoped that through technological upgrading, resource integration and green transformation, the Southern Cement Project will become a new intelligent green benchmark for the cement industry in the Yangtze River Delta region, with both economic and environmental benefits, while strengthening the competitiveness of Southern Cement in the regional market and promoting the high-quality development of local economy." 2023, the Economic and Credit Department of Anhui Province announced the relocation project of the cement clinker production line of Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd. with a daily output of 7500 tons. The new line is scheduled to be ignited and put into operation before December 2025.
