On August 24, Shanxi Shanshui Cement Co., Ltd. (I.e. Shanxi Operating Area) and Shanxi Meijin Energy Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as Meijin Energy) held a signing ceremony for strategic cooperation. Wang Lei, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shanshui Group, and Yao Junqing, President of Meijin Energy, attended the ceremony. Wang Chao, General Manager of Shanxi Operating Zone, and Ma Kai, General Manager of Meijin Energy Hydrogen Energy Technology, signed the agreement on behalf of both sides.
Wang Lei said that Meijin Energy, as a pioneer and leader in the field of hydrogen energy in China, has built an integrated industrial chain of "coal-coke-gas-chemical-hydrogen", and has the leading research and development and production capacity of hydrogen heavy trucks in China. The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides marks the cooperation between Shanshui Group and Meijin Energy. It will inject a strong "green power" into the logistics and transportation system of Shanshui Group. He hoped that the two sides would give full play to their respective professional advantages, deepen cooperation in the application of hydrogen energy technology, deep coordination of industrial chain and personnel training, and work together to create a new model for the integration of green manufacturing and clean energy.
Yao Junqing thanked Shanshui Group for its trust and support to Meijin Energy. He said that the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement will further promote cooperation and exchanges between the two sides, and is a deep integration and innovative practice of hydrogen energy and cement, new energy and traditional industries. This cooperation will not only effectively enhance the clean transportation level and green competitiveness of Shanshui Cement, but also provide an important landing scenario for the hydrogen energy technology and equipment of Meijin Energy, which is a win-win move to achieve "complementary advantages and common strength". Before the
discussion, Wang Lei and his delegation went to Meijin Energy Huasheng Hydrogen Energy Base to visit the production, storage, transportation, processing and vehicle application of Meijin Hydrogen Energy, and to understand in detail the coal-coke-chemical-hydrogen business sector of Meijin Energy and the development plan of hydrogen energy industry.

In order to implement the relevant policy requirements and accelerate the green low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of the cement industry, China Cement Network is scheduled for September 23-24. The 14th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and the 6th Intelligent Summit Forum were held in Zibo, Shandong Province. This conference will bring together industry experts, enterprise representatives and many industry stakeholders to gather group wisdom and promote energy-saving, environmental protection and intelligent transformation and upgrading of the cement industry.
