Qingzhou Zhonglian CCUS Project was selected as the second batch of national green low-carbon advanced technology demonstration projects.

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the "Green Low Carbon Advanced Technology Demonstration Project List (the second batch)", a total of 101 projects were selected, covering the three directions of "source carbon reduction, process carbon reduction, end carbon sequestration". Qingzhou Zhonglian Carbon Dioxide Enrichment and Purification Demonstration Project was successfully selected into the list of "End Carbon Sequestration" projects. As one of the important achievements of China Building Materials Group's "Unveiling the List" project,

the project adopts the original technology and equipment of the international leading oxy-fuel combustion process reengineering, and is the first CCUS demonstration project in the cement sector of China Building Materials Group. It is also the first demonstration application of oxy-fuel combustion coupling low-energy carbon capture technology in cement industry at home and abroad, which fully demonstrates the responsibility and responsibility of China Building Materials Group in promoting global green and low-carbon development through R & D and innovation. The project has won many honors such as the "2024 Climate Action Technology and Engineering Award" of the World Cement Association (WCA) and the "Breakthrough New Technology and New Products in Building Materials Industry" of the China Building Materials Federation.
