On December 15, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Anhui Province issued a public announcement on the capacity adjustment and replacement of the cement clinker production line of Anhui Guangde Hongshan Southern Cement Co., Ltd.

Anhui Guangde Hongshan Southern Cement Co., Ltd. and Anhui Guangde Southern Cement Co., Ltd. plan to increase the production capacity of 4500t/d and 5000t/d cement clinker production lines to 6350t/d and 6066t/d respectively by means of capacity supplement. The replacement capacity comes from Dafang Yonggui Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Anhui Langxi Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd., with the replacement ratio of 2:1 and 1.5: 1 respectively. After the implementation of the

capacity replacement plan, a 2500t/d cement clinker production line of Dafang Yonggui Building Materials Co., Ltd. is planned to be dismantled and withdrawn before December 31, 2026, and a 2500t/d cement clinker production line of Anhui Langxi Southern Cement Co., Ltd. is planned to be dismantled and withdrawn after the disposal of state-owned assets.

On October 13, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province announced that due to the revision of the policy of capacity replacement in the cement and glass industry by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Office of Industry and Information Technology of Jiangxi Province decided to abolish the Rules for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry of Jiangxi Province (Gongxin Regulation No.2024) from the date of issuance of the notice, and to abolish the "Rules for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry of Jiangxi Province". The capacity replacement of cement and glass industry in the whole province will be handled in accordance with the relevant policies of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the future.
