In order to speed up the promotion of industrial energy efficiency, give full play to the role of benchmarking and demonstration, and guide enterprises in key industries to carry out energy-saving and carbon-reducing transformation, according to the "Work Program for Carbon Peak in the Industrial Field of Shandong Province" and "Selection and Management Measures for Energy Efficiency" Leaders "in Key Industries of Shandong Province (Trial Implementation). The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, together with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, organized the selection of energy efficiency "leaders" in key industries at the provincial level in 2025. After enterprise declaration, recommendation by prefectures and cities, and expert evaluation, 30 processes/products of 24 enterprises are proposed to be identified as "leaders" of energy efficiency in key industries at the provincial level, and the list is now publicized.
