On August 14, Guohua Wulate Middle Banner Wind Power Hydrogen and Ammonia Integration Project (Hydrogen and Ammonia Production Part) was put on record. The project unit is Guohua (Bayannaoer) New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 13.2 billion yuan. It is planned to start in October 2026 and complete in December 2028.
The project constructs 442,000 Nm ³ hydrogen production by electrolytic water, 3.778 million Nm ³ hydrogen storage, 1.35 million tons/year synthetic ammonia and supporting public auxiliary facilities such as air separation, air compression, water supply and drainage, storage and transportation.
Guohua Wulate Zhongqi Wind Hydrogen-Ammonia Integration Project (hydrogen-ammonia production part) is the first phase pilot project of "10 million kilowatts of new energy, 3 million tons of green fuel (raw material)" project planned and constructed by the State Energy Group in Bayannur.
