According to foreign media reports, Trina Solar recently signed a cooperation agreement with Holosolis, a French photovoltaic module manufacturer. The two sides will jointly build Holosolis' 5G W component manufacturing plant in France .
It is understood that the plant plans to produce 5G W batteries and modules annually, equivalent to about 10 million photovoltaic modules per year. Among them , Trina Solar said it would provide professional technical support for the component factory .

It is worth noting that in September 2025, Holosolis signed a patent license agreement with Trina Solar involving the N-type TOPCon technology portfolio . According to media reports at the time, the agreement will support Holosolis to establish a TOPCon component production line in Europe. In terms of
funding, Holosolis previously announced on November 21, 2025 that it had received 220 million euros (about 1.805 billion yuan ) in support. There are also other investors such as Cales Technologies, a French family holding company, and Forming AG, a Swiss family investment company.
