Recently, Yang Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Conch Group, visited Shanghai Environmental Energy Exchange and conducted research and exchanges with Lai Xiaoming, Chairman of Shanghai Environmental Exchange.
Yang Jun highly recognized the long-term good cooperative relationship between the two sides, and introduced the operation and carbon emission reduction of Conch Group. He said that the carbon market has become an important tool for capacity regulation and green transformation of the cement industry. We hope to deepen cooperation with Shanghai Ring Exchange in the fields of international exchanges, carbon-related standard formulation, low-carbon research and dual-carbon policy research and judgment, incorporate carbon management into the overall operation system of enterprises, make good use of the carbon market mechanism, and promote the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the cement industry.
Lai Xiaoming welcomed the visit of Yang Jun and his delegation, introduced the operation status and construction plan of the national carbon market, and analyzed the trend of carbon price. He said that the national carbon market will accelerate the implementation of mechanisms such as industry expansion, investment institutions entering the market and paid distribution, and look forward to strengthening cooperation with Conch Group in international carbon market docking, carbon quota trading, low-carbon activities in the cement industry, policy research and optimization of trading services to jointly implement the national "double carbon" strategy.
