From January to July, the national cement output was 958 million tons, down 4.5% year on year.

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in July, the value added of industries above scale increased by 5.7% year-on-year (the growth rate of value added is the real growth rate after deducting price factors). On a month-on-month basis, in July, the value added of industries above designated size increased by 0.38% over the previous month. From January to July, the added value of industries above scale increased by 6.3% year on year.

The national cement output of the cement industry in July was 145.58 million tons, down 5.6% year-on-year; the national cement output from January to July was 958.01 million tons, down 4.5% year-on-year.

In addition, the data show that from January to July 2024, the national cement output was 0.44 million tons 100145, so the total cement output in the first half of this year decreased by 43.44 million tons, or 4.3%, compared with the same period last year.
