On March 30, at the invitation of Kazakhstan State Investment Corporation, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yermek Koshcherbayev met with the head of international business of the cement company in Beijing. The two sides held friendly talks on the progress of the Gezhouba Xili Cement Project invested by the company, the implementation of investment policies and new investment projects.
Yermek Koshcherbayev had a detailed understanding of the progress of Xili Cement Project, gave detailed answers to the implementation of investment policies and other related contents, and fully affirmed the contribution of the project to Kazakhstan. He hoped that the company would continue to increase its investment in Kazakhstan and contribute to the friendship between China and Kazakhstan in the context of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
