Ashan Cement in Habahe County, Xinjiang failed to implement the requirements of cement peak staggering production in 2023-2024, failed to shut down the kiln within the prescribed time period as required, and produced 119,000 tons of clinker in violation of regulations. The enterprise has completed the rectification task in 2025.

On December 4, the Administrative Office of Altay Prefecture in Xinjiang announced the completion of the 23rd rectification task of ecological environmental protection supervision. Previously, Ashan Cement in Habahe County failed to implement the requirements of cement peak staggering production in 2023-2024, failed to stop the kiln in the prescribed time period as required, and produced 119,000 tons of clinker in violation of regulations. The local government has promoted the rectification by adjusting the peak time of the enterprise, interviewing the legal person of the enterprise, and strengthening supervision. After inspection, the enterprise has completed the rectification task in 2025.
