On July 30, Yunnan Construction and Investment Concrete announced that the Group continued to sign a concrete supply contract for the reconstruction and expansion project of Kunming Changshui International Airport.
As at the date of this announcement, the aggregate amount of concrete centralised supply contracts entered into by the Group in relation to the Project is approximately RMB283 million, involving a demand for concrete of approximately 1,682,100 cubic meters. The specific projects involved mainly include the T2 terminal project (southern and northern sections). Ground road and comprehensive pipe gallery works in the north working area of the airport. Kunming Changshui International Airport is a major infrastructure project implemented by Yunnan Province to accelerate the construction of radiation centers and international aviation hubs for South Asia and Southeast Asia, actively serve and integrate into the construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Zone. According to the official website of Yunnan Development and Reform Commission and Kunming Transportation Bureau, the design target year is 2030. It is predicted that the passenger throughput will be 95 million, the cargo and postal throughput will be 1 million tons, and the aircraft will take off and land 633,000 sorties. The total investment of the airport project is estimated to be 64.07 billion yuan.
