Recently, the Development and Reform Commission of Yunnan Province issued a reply on the approval of the special railway line project of Yuxi International Logistics Port.
It is reported that the project is located in Yanhe Town, Hongta District, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, and is connected to Yanhe Station of China-Laos Kunwan Railway. The main construction contents of the project include: the track laying length of the special line is 1.014 km. Two
new cargo lines with an effective length of 400m and one safety line with an effective length of 50m will be built. A new machine waiting line with an effective length of 90 meters, a new container yard and supporting facilities such as communication, information, signal, power, water supply and drainage will be built. The main technical standards will be constructed in accordance with the standards for special railway lines, with a design speed of 40 km/H, a minimum curve radius of 300 meters, and a flat slope as the limiting gradient; diesel traction, with a traction mass of 3000 tons. The designed annual freight volume of the project in the near future is 800,000 tons, the estimated construction period is 12 months, and the estimated total investment is 77.0978 million yuan . After the completion of the
project, the domestic goods will be transported to the customs supervision area by the international train. After passing the inspection of the customs supervision area, the goods will be loaded and marshalled into trains on the special line before departure. After arriving at Yanhe Station, the imported goods will be pushed to the special line through shunting operation and released after being inspected by the customs supervision area.
