cement industry is directly related to the healthy operation of infrastructure construction and even the whole industrial chain. Under the background of the current nationwide intensive anti-involution competition action, the cement industry needs to be more aware of the disadvantages of "involution" and take the initiative to jump out of the vicious competition quagmire of low price and low quality, which is not only the inevitable requirement of the sustainable development of the industry itself, but also an important part of promoting the high-quality development of China's economy.
In recent years, in order to compete for market share, some cement enterprises do not hesitate to sell products at a price below the cost. This "involution" competition not only seriously damages the interests of enterprises, but also disrupts the normal market order. In the long run, enterprises will lack sufficient funds for technology research and development, equipment renewal and environmental protection investment, which will lead to the stagnation of the technology level of the whole industry, the difficulty of improving product quality, and the gradual widening of the gap with the international advanced level.

Under the "involution" competition, in order to reduce costs, some enterprises may adopt jerry-building, illegal production and other ways, which will not only cause waste of resources, but also aggravate environmental pollution, which runs counter to the current concept of green and low-carbon development advocated by our country.
In the market competition, the "involution" competition will also weaken the international competitiveness of China's cement enterprises. With the further development of economic globalization, the pace of "going out" of China's cement enterprises is accelerating, but if the enterprises are in the competitive environment of low price and low quality for a long time, it will be difficult to establish a good brand image, and the recognition and added value of products in the international market will be greatly reduced. On the contrary, through the management of "involution" competition, enterprises should be guided to focus on improving product quality, strengthening technological innovation and optimizing service level, so as to continuously enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and promote China's cement products to occupy a more favorable position in the international market.
Every cement enterprise should be positioned correctly to avoid disorderly competition of low quality and homogeneity. As the saying goes, "Striking iron needs to be rigid", improving the hard power of enterprises, improving the efficiency of resource utilization, improving product quality and improving service level are the absolute principles of sustainable development of enterprises, so as to truly grasp their own destiny in the changing tide of the market.
