Sichuan Cement Association Convenes the Second Session of the Fifth Council and the Working Conference in 2025

The spring breeze is warm and spring is in the air. On April 1, 2025, the Second Session of the Fifth Council of Sichuan Cement Association and the 2025 Working Conference were successfully held in Chengdu. The meeting was presided over by Du Yunlong, Secretary-General of Sichuan Cement Association, and invited Qing Jiasheng, Director of Material Industry Department of Sichuan Economic and Information Department, Chen Qiang, Head of Atmospheric Department of Sichuan Ecological Environment Department, Yan Songlin, a first-level researcher, to give guidance. The meeting deliberated and unanimously adopted the Bill on the Adjustment of the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Association, and nominated Zou Jiabin, President and Secretary of the Party Committee of Southwest Cement Co., Ltd., as the candidate for the Chairman and Legal Representative of Sichuan Cement Association. Leaders of major cement enterprises in Sichuan made speeches at the forum. They agreed that they would firmly support the work of industry associations, resolutely and strictly implement peak-staggering production, resolutely oppose "involution" and vicious competition, resolutely implement the industrial policies of the competent government departments, and promote carbon saving and pollution reduction, ultra-low emission transformation, green transformation and "double control" of production capacity as a whole, and strive to achieve high-quality development of the industry.
