Safety Reminder: The operation springboard shall be fully paved and bound

Recently, the Emergency Management Bureau of Hailar District, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, exposed the potential safety hazards of the second phase of enterprises in its jurisdiction on its exposure platform, involving a cement enterprise. There are 7 hidden dangers

exposed, and the third one is that the springboard for maintenance operation in the waste heat power generation workshop is not fully paved and bound. It does not comply with the provisions of Article 4.4.4 of the General Code for Construction Scaffolds (GB 55023-2022): safety protection measures shall be taken for the scaffold operation layer, and the following provisions shall be met: 1. The scaffold operation layer of the operation scaffold, the full support scaffold and the attached lifting scaffold shall be fully paved with scaffold boards, and shall meet the requirements of stability and reliability. When the distance between the edge of the working layer and the outer surface of the structure is more than 150mm, protective measures shall be taken. 2.The steel scaffold board connected by hook shall be equipped with self-locking device and locked with the horizontal rod of the working layer. 3. Wooden scaffold board, bamboo string scaffold board and bamboo scaffold board shall be supported by reliable horizontal rods and shall be bound firmly. Coincidentally, recently I saw a report that a cement enterprise's SCR denitrification transformation project was put into operation. The report showed multiple photos of the renovation process. One of them is a photo of the structural parts of the main equipment being installed. The

situation is very similar to the situation that the operation springboard is not fully paved and bound. By analogy, it is also a hidden danger in production safety. It should be regarded as a rectification item of construction operation and should not be reproduced in future operations.
