Qingzhou Zhonglian is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China United Cement Group Co., Ltd., an important regional company of Tianshan Materials, a listed company in the cement sector of China Building Material Group under the supervision of SASAC. Over the years, the company has adopted advanced technologies and processes encouraged by the state, strengthened the concept of energy conservation and environmental protection, adhered to the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing" as the starting point, and taken the road of technological innovation and development to promote transformation and upgrading. The company has won the honorary titles of "National Green Factory", "National Green Mine", "National Safety Culture Construction Demonstration Enterprise" and "National Model Workers'Home".
Qingzhou Zhonglian Cement Co., Ltd. invested 283 million yuan to build a demonstration project of carbon dioxide oxy-fuel combustion coupling carbon capture with an annual output of 200000 tons, which was jointly tackled by Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute and Shanghai Triumph Energy-saving Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. The project is the largest in the domestic cement industry, the first in Shandong Province, and the first carbon capture and utilization project in the cement sector of China Building Materials Group. It has been selected as the first batch of major scientific and technological projects in the national building materials industry and the "industrial" projects of the National Development and Reform Commission in tackling key low-carbon technologies.
The project relies on the 2 # 6000t/d cement clinker production line to build a demonstration line with an annual output of 200,000 tons of CO. The main project includes oxygen production, CO self-enrichment (oxy-fuel combustion technology), capture and purification (pressure swing adsorption + adsorption distillation technology) and other systems. It can increase the concentration of CO in flue gas from 20-30% to 75%, and then purify it to more than 99.5%. Compared with the conventional chemical absorption method, the cost is reduced by about 25%. The product is used in oil displacement, chemical industry and other fields.
The project started construction on July 3, 2023, completed and put into operation on January 12, 2024, and the technical indicators of operation meet the design expectations. The successful implementation of the project not only marks a revolutionary innovation in the theory and practice of low-carbon green production process design in China's cement industry, but also contributes to China's wisdom and China's plan for carbon emission reduction and carbon neutralization in the global cement industry.
At present, the cement industry is facing the double test of energy saving, environmental protection and industrial intelligence upgrading.
