In the southeast of Xizang, a modern cement clinker production line stands quietly on the snowy plateau at an altitude of 3700 meters.
It may not be a conspicuous landmark, but it has left a heavy weight for the plateau; although it is not in the spotlight, it shoulders the dual mission of development and people's livelihood.
This is the first investment project of Conch Group in the Xizang-Basu Conch. As the project is approaching the 5th anniversary of its completion and commissioning, let's approach this plateau factory and explore the conch power belonging to the plateau.
Basu Conch Cement Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is the first investment project of Anhui Conch Group in the Xizang Autonomous, and is also an important carrier for Conch Group to strive to promote local poverty alleviation and practice social responsibility. Located in Xiba Village, Baima Town, Basu County, Changdu City, Xizang Autonomous, the company was established in April 2018 with a registered capital of 827.5 million yuan. Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. accounted for 70% of the shares, Basu Rongsu poverty alleviation Investment Co., Ltd. and Changdu Kaiyuan Investment Co., Ltd. each accounted for 15% of the shares. With a total investment of 1.38 billion yuan , a new dry process cement clinker production line of 2500 tons/d has been built, with a total annual output of 1.1 million tons of cement grinding and supporting 4.5MW waste heat power generation system and 2.9MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project. Company under
construction adopts the most advanced new dry production technology of cyclone precalcining kiln in the world, uses distributed automation control system, first-class quality testing equipment and centralized control in the central control room, and has advanced environmental protection configuration in the production site. Dust emission concentration is low, production cooling water is recycled to achieve "zero discharge" of sewage, and environmental protection indicators and production technology indicators have reached the international advanced level. Since its entry into Basu, the
company has responded to the call for aid to Xizang with industrial investment, adhering to the management concept of "creating future living space for mankind", always insisting on building a factory, driving the economy of one place, improving the environment, benefi ting the people of one side, directly solving the employment of more than 400 people, attracting more than 150 Xizangan employees, and attracting more than 100 people. Employment localization rate reached 37%, per capita annual income reached 120000 yuan, and rapidly stimulated the economic growth of local transportation, services and other industries, radiation-driven employment of more than 2000 people, in equipment leasing, social employment, project construction, logistic support and other aspects, a total of nearly 100 million yuan of social benefits were created for Basu County, and nearly 700000 yuan of agricultural and sideline products were purchased annually.
