The integrated project of wind and solar hydrogen production in Dengkou County, Inner Mongolia was launched, and 44 sets of electrolyzers were built, with an annual hydrogen production of 20000 tons and a total investment of 3.017 billion yuan, to promote the development of green hydrogen.

On July 18, Inner Mongolia Shaanyao New Energy Co., Ltd. invited tenders for EPC general contracting (Bid Section 1) of Dengkou County Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project.

It is reported that the total investment of Dengkou County Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production Integration Project is 3.017 billion yuan, which is constructed by Dengkou Shaanyao Hydrogen Energy New Energy Co., Ltd.

The bidding scope is:

wind power of 300,000 kilowatts and photovoltaic power of 200,000 kilowatts on the new energy side. After the completion of the construction, it is estimated that the annual average power generation will be 1.196 billion kilowatt hours, including 102 million kilowatt hours of on-grid electricity. 44 sets of 1000 Nm ³/H alkaline electrolyzers and 8 sets of 2000 m ³ hydrogen storage spherical tanks are built at the hydrogen

production side. The average annual hydrogen production capacity is 20,000 tons, which is consumed by chemical enterprises in Wuhai City.

The planned construction period is 42 calendar days, the planned commencement date is August 15 , 2025, and the planned completion date is October 30 , 2026. The actual commencement date shall be subject to the commencement order issued by the Chief Supervision Engineer.
