Hong Kong stocks of Huaxin Cement soared by more than 60%! The news benefited from the hydropower station project in the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River.

News: July 19 morning at the Nyingchi City of the Xizang Autonomous. Li Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and announced the official start of the project. The hydropower project in the

lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River is located in the Nyingchi City of the Xizang Autonomous. The project mainly adopts the development mode of cutting bend and straightening and tunnel diversion, and constructs five cascade hydropower stations with a total investment of about 1.2 trillion yuan. The external power transmission and consumption of the project is the main part, taking into account the local self-use demand of Xizang.

China Cement Network data show that Huaxin Cement is one of the major cement enterprises in the Xizang. The total clinker production capacity was 3.565 million tons, accounting for 28.40% of the total production capacity, ranking second only to Gaozheng Building Materials, the local leader in Xizang.
