Qi Liang said that the current downward trend in cement market demand is obvious. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the national cement output in 2024 was 1.8 billion tons, down 9.5% from the same period last year. Domestic cement demand is expected to drop to about 1.6 billion tons this year, and will continue to decline in the future, and may even decline to 1 billion tons in the future. Faced with such a situation, how to survive in the cement industry is a serious problem.

Qi Liang believes that from the current point of view, cement enterprises must strengthen self-restraint, according to the approved production capacity, strictly prohibit overproduction, in this regard, the government should do a good job of restraint, the industry should do a good job of supervision. On this basis, the industry should also allocate production according to the total demand. That is to say, according to the macroeconomic situation, the annual demand decline ratio of the regional market is predicted, and then each enterprise reduces production or staggers peak production on the basis of the previous year according to the proportion.

Lacquer Liang said that the decisive factor in the source of enterprise benefits is price, and in the current industry situation, price maintenance requires enterprises to do a good job of self-restraint.

Shao Jun recognized Qi Liang's point of view, and pointed out that in view of the current predicament, the industry should use group wisdom to make suggestions for the industry to get out of the serious overcapacity dilemma, strive to form industry consensus, actively implement "anti-involution" and put an end to vicious competition.
