According to the data of new photovoltaic installations in the first three quarters of each province, Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Guangdong, Shandong, Yunnan, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Anhui, Hebei and Henan rank among the top ten.
In the first three quarters, the installed grid-connected capacity of new centralized photovoltaic power stations was 11159 4000 kilowatts. Xinjiang is the absolute leader in installed capacity, reaching 23.154 million kilowatts, followed by Yunnan, reaching 12.884 million kilowatts, followed by Jiangsu, Shanxi, Ningxia, Guizhou, Shandong, Guangdong, Hebei and Gansu. In addition, by the end of September 2025, the southeast coastal provinces were in the majority of the new grid-connected capacity of distributed photovoltaic. The top three provinces are Jiangsu, Shandong and Zhejiang, followed by Henan, Guangdong, Anhui, Hebei, Hubei, Hunan and Guangxi.
