According to the public number of "China Electric Power Construction", the third phase of 2G W fishing-photovoltaic complementary power generation project in Zhanhua District, Binzhou, Shandong Province, the world's largest fishing-photovoltaic complementary project, was officially started recently.
The project is located in Binhai Town, Zhanhua District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province , covering an area of about 66,000 mu, with a planned total capacity of 2GW, and supporting the construction of the largest 220 kV booster station and transmission line in Asia.
It is understood that the project is divided into five phases . The Tenth Bureau of Hydropower, a subsidiary of China Electric Power Construction Group, is responsible for the EPC general contracting project of the booster station and the outgoing line of the project and the construction of the first PC section of the photovoltaic plant area. At present, about 299 MW of Phase I and Phase II have been connected to the grid.
The third phase of the project includes the construction of 204 MW photovoltaic area and the construction of the third phase of the supporting booster station. It is planned to realize the first batch of grid connection on December 30, 2025, reverse power transmission of the main transformer of the third phase project on January 30, 2026, and full capacity grid connection on March 31, 2026.
In addition, the project will further promote the coupling development of photovoltaic industry and traditional aquaculture industry in coastal areas through the "fishing-light complementary" mode, and create a three-dimensional recycling industry model of "generating electricity on the top and raising fish on the bottom".
