The Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of Ultra-low Emission in Cement Industry clearly promotes the implementation of ultra-low emission transformation in cement clinker production enterprises (excluding mines) and independent grinding stations (including cement enterprises producing special cement and co-disposing of solid waste).
By the end of 2025, significant progress will be made in key regions, striving to complete the transformation of 50% of cement clinker production capacity, and large state-owned enterprise groups in the region will basically complete the transformation of organized and unorganized ultra-low emissions. Some provinces in China have further refined their targets, requiring all cement clinker lines to complete ultra-low emission transformation by the end of 2025.
