The landslide caused the interruption of the road from Maerkang to Rangtang on National Highway 317. There were no casualties for the time being, and the rush time could not be estimated.
Earlier, at 17:25 on November 10, the local patrol found that about 10 cm wide main cracks were found on both sides of G317 pavement on the right bank of Hongqi Bridge in Baiwan Township, Maerkang City, and on the pavement of Muerji Kuzhou Road. The mountain crack is about 30 meters away from the abutment on the right bank of G317 Hongqi Bridge and about 50 meters away from the traffic side of Kuzhou. When a dangerous situation is
found, the local emergency response mechanism will be launched immediately.
