It is understood that the overall situation of the cement industry in Jiangxi Province in 2024 is still acceptable. Since August last year, the cement price in Jiangxi Province has been repaired several times, making the cement price in the second half of the year return to the same period last year. Cement sales in Jiangxi Province fell by nearly 20% in 2024, exceeding expectations, but cement prices in Jiangxi Province remained better in 2024, mainly due to the consensus formed by enterprises in the province.
Li Shifeng introduced that in 2024, the production and operation of Wannianqing cement plate was relatively stable, and the commercial mixed plate was more difficult. He pointed out that challenges and opportunities coexist in the industry situation this year, and the decline in demand is expected to narrow. Under the call of anti-involution, the market competition among enterprises will become more rational, and the economic benefits of the industry are expected to improve.
Ma Weiping said that the cement industry must not fall into the quagmire of "involution" vicious competition. Respecting market rules, respecting scientific and technological innovation, attaching importance to talent, and facing the current predicament with a rational and scientific attitude are the key to breaking the situation.
