Li Xiang introduced the application of three advanced materials, titanium-aluminium ceramic composites, microcrystalline ceramics and nano-thermal insulation materials, in key parts of cement kilns.

Li Xiang said that at present, refractory castables are prone to wear and tear during the use of key parts of cement kilns, and non-standard construction, drying and baking lead to more unstable service life, which can not meet the advanced indicators in the industry. The titanium-aluminum ceramic composite material combines the characteristics of high strength and high corrosion resistance of a ceramic material in a high-temperature environment with the characteristics that the long-term service temperature of a titanium-aluminum alloy fiber reaches 1450 deg C and the tensile strength is high, and can effectively solve various problems existing in the current refractory castable.

The microcrystalline ceramic material is made of large crystalline petroleum coke silicon carbide as the main raw material and fired at a high temperature of 1500 deg C, has the characteristics of strong thermal shock stability, high temperature resistance, erosion resistance, skinning resistance, erosion resistance and the like, and effectively solves the problems of unstable production, high cleaning safety risk, increased cost and the like caused by the influence of skinning of cement kiln materials on system ventilation. nano thermal insulation material has higher thermal insulation effect, and the use of thinner nano materials can play a very good cooling effect, reduce heat loss, and achieve remarkable energy-saving effect. At that same shell temperature, the use thickness of the nano plate can be greatly reduced, and when the nano plate is use in a decomposing furnace, the volume of the decomposing furnace can be increased, and the yield can be improved.
