According to the statistics of Polaris Energy Storage Network, in 2018-2023, a total of 15 provinces and municipalities explicitly put forward 96 energy storage subsidy policies, including Anhui 6, Beijing 2, Guangdong 32, Henan 2, Jiangsu 13, Inner Mongolia 2, Sichuan 3, Zhejiang 24, Chongqing 6, Qinghai/Shanxi/Shaanxi/Tianjin/Fujian/Hunan; A total of 34 policies explicitly propose energy storage subsidies in 2024.

According to the energy demand and characteristics of South Shanya, Xinju Energy has constructed a three-in-one solution of "stable supply and stable production + cost reduction and efficiency increase + policy value-added". After the implementation of energy storage, the annual electricity expenditure is expected to be reduced by 15%; the transformer utilization rate is increased by 18%; the carbon emission intensity is reduced by 12%, and the carbon emission is reduced by 496.5 tons; and the emergency and response power grid scheme is added to effectively improve the emergency power supply and peak regulation and frequency modulation capacity.
As Ma Bo, general manager of New Juneng, put forward in his speech at the 14th China Cement Industry Summit in 2025, "Energy storage is not only a technical option, but also a strategic asset for cement enterprises to reconstruct their energy competitiveness."
