On October 31, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the "List of Green Factories in Hunan Province in 2025", and Hunan Guzhang Southern Cement Co., Ltd., which belongs to Zhongnan Cement, was successfully selected.
In recent years, Guzhang South has vigorously promoted green low-carbon transformation, and adopted a series of measures such as ultra-low emission transformation of equipment, clean energy substitution, solid waste co-disposal and water resources recycling to promote energy conservation, emission reduction and consumption reduction, and achieved remarkable results. The enterprise has been awarded the titles of high-tech enterprise, A-level enterprise of environmental protection performance in Xiangxi Prefecture, green brand unit of environmental protection in Hunan Province and national green mine.
