On March 17, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February, the value added of industries above scale increased by 5.9% year-on-year (the growth rate of value added is the real growth rate after deducting price factors). On a month-on-month basis, in February, the value added of industries above designated size increased by 0.51% over the previous month. From
January to February, the national cement output was 170.99 million tons, down 5.7% from the same period last year.
In addition, the data show that the national cement output in January-February 2024 is 18280 million tons , so the total cement output in January-February this year is 11.81 million tons less than same period last year, a decrease of 6.5%.
