Sichuan Guoda Cement Co., Ltd. has obtained the product carbon footprint certificate.

Recently, the P.O42.5R ordinary Portland cement produced by Sichuan Guoda Cement Co., Ltd., which belongs to Southwest Cement , has obtained the product carbon footprint certificate certified by the double-carbon public service platform of key raw material industries. China National Inspection and Testing Holding Group Co., Ltd., the

certification party, strictly checks according to international and domestic standards. Through the modeling and accounting of the platform, the carbon footprint of Sichuan Guoda Cement products meets the GB/T 24067-2024 Requirements and Guidelines for Quantifying the Carbon Footprint of Greenhouse Gas Products, and the certificate is granted.

In recent years, Sichuan Guoda Cement insists on integrating the concept of green development into the whole process of production and operation, starting from the source control of raw material procurement, selecting non-carbonate alternative raw materials, establishing a full-chain carbon emission management mechanism, adopting measures such as optimizing production process and promoting clean energy substitution, and realizing the precise quantification and scientific control of product carbon footprint.
