Ten cement enterprises do not implement differentiated electricity prices.

Recently, the Jiaozuo Municipal Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on the implementation of differential electricity prices by some enterprises in 2025.

In accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Improving the Differential Electricity Price Policy issued by the General Office of the Henan Provincial Government (No.99, 2018) and the Notice on Improving the Differential Electricity Price Policy issued by the Municipal Government Office (No.180, 2018). According to the results of special verification organized by the Commission and the screening and identification of enterprises implementing differential electricity prices,

Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Coal Industry (Group) Kaiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd., Henan Baililian New Materials Co., Ltd., Haohua Aerospace Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Solid Cement Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Saixuebai Cement Co., Ltd., Boai Jinyu Cement Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Qianye Cement Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Danyang Cement Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Pengyuan Cement Co., Ltd., Jiaozuo Yongshi Cement Co., Ltd., Qinyang Jinyu Jidong Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., Qinyang Taihua Building Materials Co., Ltd., Jiaozu o Zhongjing Cement Co., Ltd. and other 14 enterprises conform to the national industrial policy and do not implement differentiated electricity prices.

2. Two electric arc furnaces of Qinyang Hongda Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. belong to restricted equipment and implement differentiated electricity prices. According to the Notice of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission on the Implementation of the Differentiated Electricity Price Policy in Our Province (Yu Fa Gai Jia Guan [2018] No.860), the electricity consumption of the equipment shall be increased by 0.15 yuan per kilowatt hour, which shall be retroactively implemented from June 1, 2025.

3. The competent price departments of counties (cities) and districts shall report to the governments at the same level and strengthen the verification, implementation, supervision and inspection of differentiated electricity prices in conjunction with relevant departments to ensure the implementation of differentiated electricity price policies. The State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company shall submit the implementation of the differential electricity price to the Commission before the end of June 2026.
