Lei Zhenbin said that China's cement industry is in a transitional period, drawing on Western experience and combining domestic experience, the per capita cement consumption will be reduced to about 1 ton in the future.

On March 13, the "Cement Economy 50 People Forum" hosted by China Cement Network was successfully held in Hangzhou, with the theme of "New Cycle Anti-Involution Breakthrough". Lei Zhenbin, secretary and chairman of the Party Committee

of Yufeng Group, said that the demand for Guangxi in 2024 was 55 million tons, and the demand for 2025 was estimated to be about 50 million tons, with a kiln opening rate of over 40%.

Lei Zhenbin said that China's cement industry is in a transitional period, drawing on Western experience and combining domestic data, per capita cement consumption will fall to about 1 ton in the next decade. Faced with the challenges of slowing demand, overcapacity and environmental pressure, it also ushered in a new trend of green and intelligent development, which will bring us new opportunities.

Lei Zhenbin said that there will be three major changes in the industry in the future:

1. The change

from scale-driven to value-driven; 2. The change

from a single product supplier to a system service provider; 3. The change in the competitive situation, from competition to competition and then to competition and then to elimination. Suggestions

for future development:

1. Enterprises must have

short-term benefits and long-term expectations 2. Use policies to reduce production capacity

3. Optimize the allocation

of resources 4. Strengthen industry exchanges
