The 14th China Cement Industry Summit and TOP100 Award Ceremony was grandly opened in Hangzhou in March, when the city of Hangzhou is full of smoky willows and the West Lake is rippling. Here, on behalf of OCC, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the success of the summit!
At present, the domestic cement industry is facing unprecedented challenges. The pressure of industrial restructuring is like a mountain, the operation of the industry is difficult, the market environment continues to be depressed, and every step forward is full of hardships. We are well aware that maintaining technological innovation and progress is the key to breaking through the dilemma. Technological upgrading is the core driving force for the transformation and revitalization of the cement industry.
However, the road of technological innovation is not smooth sailing. To continuously promote technological progress, capital is a solid foundation! If there is no reasonable profit in the industry and enterprises lack reasonable income, it will be difficult to invest sufficient funds in R & D, and technological innovation and high-quality development will become a rootless tree. of OCC is to maintain the healthy ecology of the industry and achieve high-quality development. Since its establishment, with fearless courage and firm determination, OCC has gone deep into the most difficult areas of the industry, gathered the strength and wisdom of all parties, upheld the concept of transparency, pluralism, consultation and communication, and strived to reach an industry consensus in the Yangtze River Basin. The Yangtze River Economic Zone, the most dynamic economic region in China, has 168 enterprises and 608 production lines in 10 provinces and cities, with a total clinker production capacity of 720 million tons, which has become the key battlefield for the rebirth of OCC. We will closely unite small and medium-sized enterprises, work hand in hand with China Building Materials, Conch, Huaxin and other industry leaders, and jointly start the great journey of restoring the industry ecology.
We are deeply aware that the cement industry must not fall into the quagmire of "involution" vicious competition. Respecting market rules, respecting scientific and technological innovation, attaching importance to talent strength, and facing the current predicament with a rational and scientific attitude are the key to breaking the situation. We actively responded to the call of national policies, thoroughly implemented the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the Twentieth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, and made unremitting efforts to put an end to the vicious competition of "involution", restore the industry ecology and restore the confidence of enterprises.
We firmly believe that as long as the whole industry works together, we will be able to take the lead in realizing the high-quality and healthy development of the cement industry in the Yangtze River Basin, thus setting an example for the cement industry in other parts of the country and leading the whole industry to a broad road of sound development.
