According to foreign media reports, on October 27, the Algerian government submitted a draft budget for the 2026 fiscal law (PLF), which contains a number of measures to support the development of renewable energy.
In the field of photovoltaics , Article 128 of the draft clearly stipulates that products used to manufacture photovoltaic solar panels (including unassembled batteries, junction boxes, aluminum frames and solar glass). Its imports will enjoy a preferential tariff rate of 5%.
