List of Toxic and Harmful Water Pollutants (the second batch) was published!

On June 24, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the State disease control and prevention Bureau jointly issued the List of Toxic and Harmful Water Pollutants (the second batch). Enterprises, institutions and other producers and operators

discharging toxic and harmful water pollutants listed in the List of Toxic and Harmful Water Pollutants shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control o f Water Pollution, monitor sewage outlets and the surrounding environment, assess environmental risks, investigate potential environmental safety hazards and prevent them. Information on toxic and harmful water pollutants should be made public and effective measures should be taken to prevent environmental risks.
