On March 4, due to the rising temperature in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, construction sites resumed work one after another, cement market demand has obviously warmed up, and sales have shown a steady upward trend. In order to improve the operating conditions of enterprises and enhance the level of profitability, major cement enterprises in northern Hebei have notified to raise the price of cement by 100 yuan/ton .
On March 5, due to the improvement of construction sites and mixing stations in Anhui after March, the recovery of terminal demand was acceptable, the shipment volume of enterprises was higher, and the clinker line of some large factories was shut down, the inventory was generally around 3-5%. In order to increase profits, some major manufacturers along the Yangtze River in Anhui once again notified an increase in clinker prices of about 20 yuan/ton, and the surrounding Jiangsu and Zhejiang markets gradually followed up . So far, after the Spring Festival, the price of clinker in the Yangtze River Delta region has been increased by about 40-50 yuan/ton.
On March 5, according to market feedback, the recent market demand performance in Shanghai is still acceptable, the shipments of enterprises are rising, coupled with the continuous increase in cement and clinker prices in the surrounding markets, local enterprises have a strong willingness to raise prices. In order to improve profitability, some major manufacturers in Shanghai have raised the price of various types of cement by about 30 yuan/ton in the second round of notification, and the surrounding foreign cement will be adjusted one after another.
On March 5, according to market feedback, the market demand in Jiangsu has improved in recent days compared with the previous period, and the shipments of enterprises have increased. In addition, the price of clinker in the Yangtze River Delta region continues to rise by 20 yuan/ton, and manufacturers have a strong willingness to raise prices. In order to improve profitability, some major enterprises in Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Taizhou, Nantong, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province have raised the price of various types of cement by about 30 yuan/ton in the second round of notification, and the rest of the industry in the region will follow up.
