Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Circular on the Implementation Plan for Further Promoting Green and Low Carbon Standardization of Industry and Information Technology. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,

the Plan calls for the in-depth implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, the complete, accurate and comprehensive implementation of the new development concept, the conscientious implementation of the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and the National Conference on Promoting New Industrialization, and the adherence to the systematic concept and goal orientation. In order to achieve the goal of carbon peak, we should strengthen the innovation and supply of standards in the field of green low-carbon, and implement the standard system to support the comprehensive green low-carbon transformation of industry and information technology. By 2027, we will promote the formulation and revision of more than 100 green low-carbon standards, gradually improve the green low-carbon standard system for industry and information technology, and further enhance the efficiency of standardization work. By 2030, the foundation of green low-carbon standardization for industry and information technology will be more solid, the standard system will be more sound, and standardization will play a more significant role in supporting the green low-carbon development of industry and information technology.
