On June 20, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, announced the approval decision on the EIA document of Jiaxing Longji Photovoltaic 8.6G W Single Crystal Module Reconstruction and Expansion Project .
It is reported that the total investment of the project is 257.79 million yuan , including 500,000 yuan for environmental protection. The construction site is located on the east side of Baiyunqiao Road and the south side of Jixiang West Road, Wangdian Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing City. Using 17 production lines of existing spare workshops (1 , 3 , 4 # and 6 # workshops) to carry out technical transformation and intelligent upgrading, it is planned to purchase new facilities and equipment such as automatic glue adding equipment, screen printing equipment, scribing welder, overlap welder, junction box AI equipment, battery EPL and so on, and to upgrade typesetting machine, assembly line and other related facilities and equipment. After the completion of the project, the production capacity of monocrystalline modules is expected to increase by 8.6GW . According to
the data, Jiaxing Longji Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Longji Green Energy, and the actual production capacity of monocrystalline modules in 2024 is 9.5G W .
